👋 Why this notice exists

We care about your privacy and want you (and your parent or guardian) to understand what happens when you take part in the Integrity is Cool Student Video Challenge.

This page explains what data we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and who you can contact with questions or complaints.

Because you’re under 18, your parent or guardian must give permission before you join.

The challenge is organised by the Empowering Future Integrity Leaders in School Education Erasmus+ consortium.

🎯 Why we collect your data

We use your information and videos so that:

  • We can run and manage the challenge

  • We can contact you or your parent/guardian about results or prizes

  • We may show finalist videos at a conference or public event

⏳ How long we keep your data

  • All submitted videos and related data: up to 3 years

  • Publicly promoted (“faced”) finalist videos: up to 1 year

  • Videos hosted on your own social-media accounts remain under your control — you can remove them anytime

After that, your data and videos will be securely deleted or anonymised.

🔒 How we protect your data

  • Stored on secure servers with restricted access

  • Only authorised organisers and judges can access them

  • Regular reviews of our security practices

  • Ask to see what data we have about you

  • Ask to correct wrong information

  • Ask to delete your video or data

  • Ask us to stop using your video for promotion
